Dr. Ketan Jumani
Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist & Proud Dad

For Dr. Ketan Jumani, pediatric dentistry is personal. As a father of two young girls (ages 4 and 7), he understands the joys and challenges of raising children—including the struggle to get them to brush their teeth!
He knows that visiting the dentist can be a big event for a little one. That is why he combines his extensive clinical training with a "parent-first" perspective. He doesn't just look at teeth; he looks at the whole child, ensuring they feel safe, heard, and comfortable throughout their visit.
A Journey Inspired by Service
Dr. Jumani’s passion for dentistry began early. Growing up in India, he spent his summers working at his local orthodontist’s office, filling out charts and helping with odd jobs just to be close to the action. He loved seeing the confidence a healthy smile could bring to a patient’s life. After earning his initial dental degree and practicing for two years in India, Dr. Jumani moved to the United States to broaden his impact. He earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins University, eventually serving as Associate Faculty at the Institute for Vaccine Safety.
However, his heart remained in clinical care. He returned to the dental chair to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Washington. Driven to provide the highest level of care for children, he continued his training at UW to earn his Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in Pediatric Dentistry.

I love watching my patients grow, evolve, and mature over time. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a timid toddler grow into a confident teenager who loves their smile.
Dr. Jumani believes that pediatric dentistry is about much more than just fixing cavities—it is about nurturing a child’s self-esteem and setting the foundation for a lifetime of health.
His goal is to stop problems before they start. Dr. Jumani places a huge emphasis on education, teaching both parents and children the "why" and "how" of healthy habits. By empowering kids to take pride in their brushing and flossing, he helps them grow into adults who value their smiles.
A Parent-to-Parent Partnership
As a dad, Dr. Jumani knows that dental advice needs to be practical, not just clinical. He partners with parents to find realistic solutions for oral hygiene and diet that work for your specific family lifestyle. He promises to always explain treatment options clearly and honestly, treating your child exactly as he would want his own daughters treated.
Building Trust Over Time
Dr. Jumani loves the "relationship" side of dentistry. He understands that trust is earned, not given. Whether your child is outgoing or shy, he takes the time to connect with them on their level—swapping stories about school, cartoons, or sports—to ensure they feel safe and valued before any instrument is picked up.
Life Outside the Office
When he isn't fighting cavities, Dr. Jumani is usually chasing after his two active daughters!
He met his wife, Shreya Jumani (who is also a practicing dentist!), while in dental school. Together, they are navigating the adventures of parenthood with their girls, aged 4 and 7. As a family, they love exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. You can often find them hiking, skiing, running, or planning their next travel adventure.
