Repairing Smiles, Restoring Confidence
Restorative Dentistry near Sammamish, Bellevue & Redmond

We know that hearing "your child has a cavity" is never the news a parent wants to hear. But here is the good news: fixing it has never been easier, faster, or more comfortable.
At Nurture Kids Dentistry, our restorative care goes beyond just "drilling and filling." Dr. Ketan Jumani combines artistry with medical science to return your child’s tooth to its natural shape, function, and beauty. Whether it’s a small cavity or a tooth damaged by a fall, we have the tools to make it look like nothing ever happened.
Our Approach: Minimally Invasive & Metal-Free
We believe that dental repairs should look good and feel good. That is why we are a mercury-free practice.- Preserving Structure: We use advanced techniques to remove only the damaged part of the tooth, keeping as much healthy enamel as possible.
- Biocompatible Materials: We use BPA-free composite resins and medical-grade ceramics that are safe for your child’s growing body.
- Aesthetic Focus: We know that even children care about how they look! We prioritize white, natural-looking restorations so your child can smile with confidence.
Making Cavities Disappear, Invisibly
Composite Fillings

Finding out your child has a cavity can be stressful, but fixing it doesn't have to be. At Nurture Kids Dentistry, we have said goodbye to the dark silver (amalgam) fillings of the past. We use Composite Resin Fillings—a durable, tooth-colored material that blends perfectly with your child’s natural enamel.
- Aesthetic: The filling is color-matched to the tooth, so no one will ever know it’s there.
- Conservative: Composite bonds directly to the tooth structure, which allows Dr. Jumani to remove less of the healthy tooth compared to silver fillings.
- Safe: We use high-quality, BPA-free materials that are mercury-free and safe for growing bodies.
Metal-Free Armor for Little Teeth
Zirconia Crowns

When a baby tooth is severely damaged by decay or trauma, a simple filling often isn't enough to save it. In these cases, a crown acts as a protective "helmet," covering the entire tooth to prevent it from breaking.
At Nurture Kids Dentistry, we are proud to offer Zirconia Crowns. Made from solid ceramic (zirconium oxide), these are the gold standard for parents who want the most natural look for their child.
- 100% Metal-Free: Ideal for families who want to avoid metals or have nickel sensitivities.
- Indestructible: Zirconia is one of the strongest ceramics available. It resists chipping, cracking, and wear, allowing your child to eat whatever they like.
- Beautiful: They are translucent and tooth-colored, making them virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth—perfect for visible front teeth!
No Drills, No Tears
Hall Crowns

We understand that the sound of a drill or the idea of a needle is what scares children most. That is why Dr. Jumani offers the Hall Technique—a revolutionary, minimally invasive way to treat cavities in back teeth using Stainless Steel Crowns.
- No Numbing: Because there is no drilling, we rarely need to use local anesthesia.
- Cap & Seal: We place a appropriately sized Stainless Steel Crown over the tooth and cement it in place.
- Arrest Decay: The crown seals the tooth so tightly that the bacteria causing the cavity are cut off from their food supply (sugar) and oxygen. The decay stops growing, and the tooth is protected.
Saving the Tooth to Save the Smile
Baby Root Canals (Pulpotomy)

The term "root canal" sounds scary to adults, but a Baby Root Canal (Pulpotomy) is actually a very common, gentle, and much simpler procedure than the adult version.
When a cavity gets very deep, it can touch the "pulp" (the nerve and blood vessels) inside the tooth. This causes toothaches and sensitivity. If left untreated, it can lead to an infection or abscess. A pulpotomy allows us to remove the infection while keeping the tooth alive.
- Access: We gently remove the decayed part of the tooth and the infected top part of the pulp.
- Treat: The healthy root tissue remains untouched. We place a soothing medication over the roots to calm the nerve and prevent infection.
- Restore: Because the tooth is now hollowed out, it is weak. We almost always cover it with a strong Crown to protect it until it falls out naturally.
One Visit. One Nap. A Brand New Smile.
Full Mouth Reconstruction

Sometimes, due to "Baby Bottle Tooth Decay," genetic defects, or dental trauma, a child may have multiple teeth that need treatment at once. When there is extensive decay throughout the mouth, fixing one tooth at a time can be overwhelming and traumatic for a young child.
Full Mouth Reconstruction (also known as Full Mouth Rehabilitation) allows us to treat all the dental issues in a single visit. This is often done under General Anesthesia or safe sedation to ensure your child wakes up with a healthy, pain-free smile without any memory of the work.
- Digital X-rays and comprehensive cleaning.
- Fillings for smaller cavities.
- Crowns (Zirconia or Stainless Steel) for heavily damaged teeth.
- Pulpotomies (nerve treatments) where infection is present.
- Extractions of teeth that cannot be saved.
- Sealants and fluoride to protect remaining healthy surfaces.
